"A basic hotel, in many ways more like a hostel. Our room was furnished with 3 single beds which were comfortable. We had an ensuite toilet and shower, though there was no hot water on our final morning. No clothes storage, just a couple of hangers on pegs. Breakfast was an adequate buffet to with ham, salami, turkey, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, fruit salad, boiled eggs. Bread for slicing and a toaster, fruit juices (from concentrates or powders) and coffee machines. There was a water boiler on the reception area for guests to make their own hot drinks (with their own coffee or tea bags and milk)"

"The only drawback with the stay was that they were renovating on many of the floors. Places were closed off."

"With such a large group checking in at the same time, the front desk staff handled the situation professionally and patiently assisted each guest in settling in quickly. The rooms were clean and cozy, with excellent amenities, and the hotel's central location was very convenient. I truly appreciated that they let us leave our luggage at the hotel, which spared us from carrying it on our short trip to Wengen. This made the trip much more enjoyable for everyone. I would especially like to thank Noraly and Nadim for going above and beyond to help my teammates resolve their issues."

"We paid for a deluxe room. When we finally got the room, we found that the bathroom didn't have a door (maybe it's a new concept...), but the worst part was that the coffee maker, cups, and coffees were in the bathroom, right in front of the toilet! We asked to be transferred to another room and they moved us to a much smaller one. We asked about a credit, but according to them, "it was the same category." In short: my experience was bad. I don't recommend it."

"The staff were very helpful and very nice. The room seemed to be cleaned well, but the furniture and carpet in the room and carpet in the hallway were stained which made everything feel a little dirty. The bathroom was very clean which we really appreciated. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had a hard time finding the hotel because I was looking for the pictures I had seen online of the outside. It would have been nice to know beforehand that the front would be under construction. It might have saved hours caught in traffic and driving in circles."

"We absolutely loved staying here! We were in Luzern for 2 nights. We were greeted with a hearty welcome by our host, Bangin Salih, with a warm smile, a welcome map and public transport tickets (which included a 20% discount on many tours) We chose to purchase the breakfast buffet and it was DELICIOUS and the cost was a huge savings too! If we return to Luzern we would definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you Bangin, Thank you Royal Luzern Hotel!"

"Beautiful Hotel in the heart of Lucerne. Excellent location on lake Lucerne with breath takin views of lake and mountains. Walkable distance to all main attractions. We were upgraded to extremely beautiful room 310 with unbelievable views of the lake Lucerne, mountains and city. Every day we enjoyed our time on the balcony of our room. Room was in excellent condition with beautiful classic furniture. Very comfortable and roomy. In the morning we loved our delicious and freshly cooked breakfast. They had a tasty verity of bar food and you can also order from the menu. everything we tried was delicious and very fresh. Our waiter at breakfast was extremely professional and friendly. He made us fell that we knew him for a long time. Each morning we had a nice conversation with him and he gave us a good boost for the entire day. He gave us nice and very useful recommendation and suggestion. The stuff at front desk of the hotel was very helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay and when we decide to come back to Lucerne we defiantly will stay again in this paradise made by Grand Hotel National Lucerne. Thank you for such a beautiful and comfortable stay.
