"Great service, excellent food, and a beautiful spot to stay."

"Latica lodge was amazing to stay at! If you’re looking for that community vibe then this should be on the top of your list. Everyone from all over the world staying there, all having breakfast/supper together was spectular. The owners are everyday people willing to help you out with everything they made the stay so enjoyable. It’s definitely off the beaten path, I would recommend having a 4x4 vehicle to tackle the roads getting there and getting around. There’s a couple amazing beaches (best we...

"The staff was very nice, the food Amazing but the property needs some improvement. The Asian food restaurant was closed for renovation. Some areas of the roof were leaking inside the building. The chairs of the restaurant Pimiento were dirty. The property in general is beautiful and it is very nicely decorated. We had an amazing Honeymoon. We thank you to all the staff."

"This was one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. The staff was excellent. The rooms were great. The breakfast was light and gets you going. The spa was great and the pool was perhaps the best we have ever been in. The staff is accommodating and made our honeymoon truly special. One thing, do not leave any food items open in your room, the insects will find a way. That was completely our fault. :-)"

"We stayed at the property to attend a conference. The property was nice and the staff very friendly."

"This is a great boutique hotel for someone looking for a reclusive and quite stay. It is located in the mountains with gorgeous views. Fyi. The standard room only has one queen size bed. If you're traveling with friends, it is best to book separate rooms unless you want to share a bed. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We are so glad to have chosen LADE."

"This place is a great find. Clean room. Large room. Bed and bedding are comfortable. Restaurant is the best food. French toast in the morning is the best I’ve ever had. Plus they have adorable clothing store on site."

"Good clean location, friendly d Staff."

"Loved this trip. The hotel was amazing"

"Este hotel brinda excelentes servicios, el personal fue súper amable y nos brindaron indicaciones de lugares cercanos para comer y visitar. La habitación me pareció muy bonita, espaciosa y cómoda. Regresaré a este hotel. Excelente desayuno."

"Excellent stay with amazing view and incredible infinity pool!"

"Nous avons un super séjour ! Les logements sont géniaux, tout comme les extérieurs ! La piscine est super agréable et nous avons pu voir les singes hurleurs pendant qu'on prenait notre (très bon) petit déjeuner. Encore merci à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et leurs conseils ! Je recommande vivement."

"We had an excellent time at the Mikado. It was our first time to Costa Rica and it was probably one of our best holidays. Such a fun adventure. Lolo was an excellent host and if you do stay you must take advantage of her dinners. Incredibly romantic. The location is perfect. Quick drives to Tamarindo, Playa Avellanas and Playa Conchal. Great places to explore and then return to the peace and tranquility of the lodge. Absolutely perfect. "

"Very nice place with great location and views."

"Great location with private beach and easy access to Tamarindo. Staff was great!! Highly recommend."

"Not so sure this place will stay a hidden gem for long but whatever…If you looking for the most serene & private lil spot. You won’t be disappointed. Leave all the lil nick naks at home cause you won’t need it. Extensive detail to amenities & toiletries. It’s not massive and that’s the point! Leave the lil ones at home, only you and the hubby… your welcome."
