It appears to be a fairly new home, with about 6 guest rooms and a light-filled breakfast room with a view of Wallace Monument and an open fief and hills. The hosts, spotless room and bathroom, food, and onsite parking make this a terrific place to stay for a visit to Stirling. "

"The Shawlee Cottage is a convenient place to stay when you have a car as it is a short drive to Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The owners Sandy and Cathy make an effort to have a conversation with you around the breakfast table, and they sure do have stories to share. They make your stay very welcoming. "

"Ravenswood guest house was a pretty building with three parking spaces in their front drive, which was very convenient. (There was also easy street parking around the corner if need be) Our room was very clean and comfortable with a modern en-suite. Stuart was a charming, friendly and helpful Host and his partner's artwork adorned the walls which gave it a really unique feel! The breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from. "We had the most incredible stay at The Queen's View for so many reasons. On the way to the B&B, there was an accident in the middle of Linlithgow cutting off all traffic through the town and I had no idea how to get through to the B&B. Without needing to call, Catriona messaged us with directions helping us get around the traffic and saved an extended argument in the car! On arrival, we were greeted by Catriona and shown to our room (Superior Double Room w/ garden view), which was stunning and...

"Great family run place with nice rooms and a covenient location. This place is great if you're renting a car or not. It's right by the train station that goes to either Glasgow or Edinburgh, but in a small-town area so that if you have a rental car, it's easy to manage. Lots of sights to see nearby. Great Scottish breakfast on request! Nicola is an excellent cook."

"We stayed here a few nights to visit Edinburgh in festival month. The owner is very welcoming and friendly; but the standard is disappointing by today's standards. A dog seemed to have stayed in the room before us (she takes pets) which needed more thorough airing and cleaning. The room had a slightly tired feeling. The setting is lovely and it is handy for Edinburgh - 30 mins by car and a good train service from nearby Linlithgow."
