"The only amenity at this hotel is air conditioning. The room has paper thin walls that the plaster/paint was falling off of. The bathroom sink had moss or mold growing out of the cracked caulking. The front desk staff wasn’t around for us to check out early."

"Hotel is so cool and fun! The food was incredible and the host is beyond all expectations. So many nice touches to the place to make your stay unique and memorable. From food, to drinks, to farm animals, to games, to lounge areas to kick it."

"We had an amazing stay at Hacienda La Pacifica in Costa Rica! We were welcomed with fresh green smoothies, and the staff was so warm, accommodating, and helpful. Our rooms were clean, and they even helped with our luggage. The breakfast buffet was delicious, especially the fresh bread with oregano and butter! The chicken and rice was also plentiful and filling. Wonderful hospitality and a beautiful little gem in Costa Rica. Highly recommend!"

"Limpieza, mantenimiento y jardinería de la propiedad, excepcionales. El desayuno, maravilloso."

"Had a lovely weekend stay here. The view over Lake Arenal is unbelievable! Ana was a delight every morning and made wonderful breakfasts. Her sweet cats roaming around on the property was a huge plus for me. Great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and undisturbed but still only 20 minutes from restaurants/conveniences. There are toucans in the trees next to the bungalow every morning."

"The gardens are incredible and the many humming birds were a joy. I have been in many art galleries with local art. This is one of the better galleries created from many talented artists."

"Werner and Carlos are beautiful hosts and we really enjoyed the property and the delicious breakfast! We really appreciated that they immediately took the time to make a reservation to the Hanging Bridges and recommend a great restaurant. Thank you both!"

"Great place to stay. Long way up the mountain, but once you get there its a great view!! The bar closes at 8:00 pm, so if you are in the middle of a pool game, too bad!! The lights are out and you have to leave!!"
