"Always comfortable, staff are warm and welcoming. The Hume is our favourite place to stay in Nelson."
"A fabulous location right on the lake with a private beach. The large balcony was ideal for evening meals to watch the light move over the mountains. The beds were comfortable. There are also games and books to keep you occupied in the evenings or the rain. Need to have strong legs as there’s many stairs and hill to go to the beach. The house was roomy and great for a small group. Greater attention for cleanliness to kitchen appliances, surfaces and the barbeque needed. Some screens also needed maintenance. Strong smelling soaps were used for towels, so not sent sensitive."
"Jesse was working the day of our arrival. He called to let me know the storm had taken out the power. Told us not to rush. When we arrived the power was still out but we had backup fobs to get into the room. It was clean and well laid out. Power came back on and all was great. Beautiful property. I would say Jesse went above regular customer service to make sure we were okay and happy. "
"We had a wonderful stay with our family! The property was peaceful, we enjoyed visiting the animals, and the hosts were so lovely. Kitchen was well stocked, and the house stayed cool with the AC and fans which was perfect for the hot days. It had everything we needed. Beach access just a short walk down the hill.
