"In a great old building with its own bridge across the canal . Very convenient for the city centre but in a really interesting place. Only downside is the dual carriageway running past. Windows closed keeps noise out, but on a hot day the noise would be a problem , though not so much overnight. Staff were friendly smart and efficient , Really enjoyed our one night stay and hope to return. "

"We have been before but not for a long time Ii was my wife’s 60th birthday while we was there so it was a special occasion. The room we were in which was room number 121 was perfect a beautiful room on the front with amazing views from the front of the hotel across the Gardens at the front and the golf course and the beautiful mountains beyond. The only thing we was aware of was for a while when we was in our room a bit of banging and drilling from up above us from the upgrades and alterations and refurbishment which was going on. It was a little noisy and annoying to be honest but there were signs around asking during this time could we be patient and just bare with the noise. We had a treatment each in the new spar which looked amazing and the treatments were amazing too. But we were a little disappointed that although we was having treatments we had to pay extra if we wanted to use the extra facilities of the spar and at £119 extra each we thought that was a little expensive. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay "

"Me and my hushad an amazing weekend for our 1st anniversary, food was excellent location was fantastic. Hottub in the forrest was an experience, although the Sauna was a little too small, not much value for money we paid on the twilight package we picked. Next time we would just book the hottub. Peacocks roaming around the grounds feeding out of your hands was something else. I would highly recommend a stay at Ruthin Castle. "
