Riverside Inn

8/10 Good

"If there had been heated towel rails and a walk in shower it would have been perfect. Everything else was wonderful."

Nyton Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This was one of the best Guest Houses we've stayed at over many years. Both the owner, Robert and chef Jose were incredibly helpful and obliging. If you want a 'Faulty Towers' experience without the trauma, this is it. Robert is slightly eccentric in an 'olde English' kind of way and you as a guest are very much a part of his social life in so far as he is happy to talk to you socially at breakfast or whenever. Jose is much the same and attentive to your needs and preferences and the food is excellent - I defy anyone to find a more varied breakfast menu anywhere. Ely isn't a place I'm likely to visit often but such was our stay at Nyton, if I am any where close, that's where I'll make for."

Willow Cottage - Central Ely

10/10 Excellent

"Willow Cottage is wonderful. The place is spotless and the facilities very good. The cottage is in a perfect location to visit Ely and the cathedral. Having Waitrose so close is also very convenient. All the communications with the owner were easy quick and accurate. Having the parking next to the house was great. All in all perfect"

Poets 24 Apartments

10/10 Excellent

"The apartment was excellent, it is close so to the Cathedral and other things to see ! The hotel staff were very efficient when we had a problem with the electric point to charge car .. The two bedroom apartment with on suite was great, although we feel a a door is needed between the bedroom to kitchenette as the other couple felt they were unable to come and use the facilities as other couple are in bed! And some little cups would be good that fit under the coffee maker as mugs are to big to fit under ! Would recommend to others though."

Unusual & tranquil. The Carriage Ely is a beautiful railway carriage & hot tubs

10/10 Excellent

"A really lovely spot in the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside. The carriage itself was clean, well-equipped and well presented, and the brilliant communication from Jan made the process of checking in and out really simple. I really can't recommend it more."

The Old Hall Ely

10/10 Excellent

"WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. The staff are friendly and attentive, without being over the top, Millie was awesome and a real credit to The Old Hall."

Cathedral View Farmhouse

10/10 Excellent

"All bedrooms on second floor and could be a struggle for seniors. The cottage was fabulous in every way and I would highly recommend. Beautifully decorated and fitted for all. Parking accessibility was a big bonus for us as we had family coming to visit and we did not have to be concerned with street parking. Outdoor space was lovely if the weather would have been nicer.
