"We were amazed overall with our stay. First, friendliness of the staff. Clean rooms with all necessities. Comfortable beds and seating. Breakfast was not elaborate but it fulfilled every desire with hot and cold food and beverages. Breakfast room was serviced frequently and well supplied and clean. "The front desk clerk was very knowledgeable and helpful. He asked if I wanted first or second floor which was great because I have a bad knee (1st floor). The mattress was far too soft, but the room had a refrigerator and microwave along with free Wi-Fi. If you can overlook the hotel’s desperate need of refurbishment, it’s ok for a short stay."

"we wanted a place close to the University, and this place is close to walk to it. It is also close to dining options. It is a very safe neighborhood. the staff are very friendly; the room was cozy and very clean, with kitchen, a small living rm with tv screen and the bedrm also with tv screen. "Embassy Suites in Lincoln has a great property. Very covenient and walking distance to University of Nebraska and Haymarket restaurants. If you dont want to pay for valet parking, staff is very honest about the less expensive 24 hr public parking across the street. Great rooms that allow families to stretch out into 2 rooms for more privacy. We loved the omlette/pancakes made to order, the atrium for visiting and enjoying complimentary breakfasts and happy hour snacks and drinks. The staff was very friendly, attentive and responded to texts immediately. The first night we were overwhelmed by children next door to us being loud, going in and out of their room, having fun, but it was after 11 pm. The staff made sure they quieted down immediately. We didnt realize it until the following night that 11pm is quiet hours for the entire area, including the atrium/gathering area. "
