"We enjoyed being in the heart of the town for a few days. The hotel was convenient for the harbour and eateries as well as the old town up the hill. The room had a balcony overlooking the harbour which we enjoyed for afternoon relaxation. It feels busy at times with the hubbub of the harbour and passing people but it wasn’t noisy. But for a lovely spot to watch or listen to the world go by, it was perfect. The Alte Post next door was wonderful for food and the ice cream parlour below was great for a pick me up. Staff at the hotel were excellent and so helpful. Beds were comfy. All in all a great stay. Minor gripe was lack of coffee facilities in the room. However, the breakfast buffet was immense! That set you up for the day in a gorgeous sister hotel along the road."

"Very decent standard of IHG property, new and modern with all the facilities you'd expect. Staff were friendly and helpful and tried their best at all times. Breakfast can get very hectic and there needs to be a better timed booking system and a system where people don't hang about reading newspapers - that can be done elsewhere (their room for instance!) Water needs to be provided in take-away plastic bottles and not the glass/crown cap style at the moment. A/C control needs much more improvement and the controls work correctly."

"The reception desk was located inside the Hotel Restaurant/Bar, which was a little surprising to us. Our key card to access the room was also used to activate lights, Air conditioning etc. in the room, which was unique. When walking through the corridor one would be listening to bird sounds and that was very nice and calming. Parking was available in a Parking Garage across the hotel for a fee collected by the hotel. Overall we had a great stay. "
