"This property is perfect for those wanting to see the town of Vimy as well as taking in the Memorial on Vimy Ridge. It is fairly close to the monument and if you are up for a walk it can be reached within 45 minutes to an hour. Before we went on our way we were served a wonderful breakfast. Certainly not a commercial hotel by any means but it offered an unique expierence that was exactly as advertised. Thouroughly pleased with our stay. "

"Aux Herbes Hautes is located in a beautiful place, just by the bord of Pas-de-Calais, but not far from Lille and some of the busy parts of the Nord department of France. The owner keeps a pristine apartment comprising a small kitchen, sitting room and bathroom on the ground floor, with a king bed and bath on the first floor. "What a lovely place - my Frensh is rusty [optimistically] but the lovely landlady speaks like her husband very good English. As there is no dinner service in the hotel they advised us [even on a monday - not many place serve food] to a nearby [7km] restaurant, where we had a fine meal after a long journey"

"A disappointing first impression when I arrived. All closed up. Owner arrived soon after to find staff inside. I booked a cottage and got a loft/attic area. The photos and description of the property aren't a bit like what you got. With extremely bad WiFi. Before I stayed, I was asked to walk quietly whilst moving around upstairs. That there were other rooms downstairs. Breakfast was simple."

"Communication was good on the whole, albeit until check out, when the abruptness of reception person surfaced, he could not be bothered to allow us to leave luggage as he was about commence a break. Despite being 1153 am. How long does it take to open luggage store room opposite? Result 5 hours of suitcase lugging. Studio room was ok for 1..but couples might need bigger room."
