The Vimy Memorial and the grounds are a sobering experience. The scars of World War I are everywhere from the landmine-pocked countryside to the cemeteries of the war dead. You will need a couple of hours to experience this site. Free tours are offered by Canadian summer students of the front lines and the underground trenches. #History

"A beautiful hotel hidden on the outskirts of Lille. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the venue is lovely. Very clean and quiet. The room was large, clean and warm and well equipped with amenities. The spa was beautiful and the pool was very relaxing. Breakfast each morning was also a great highlight! Highly recommend."
