"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. There is a lovely very homely feel about the hotel and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very spacious and clean and the beds were so comfy."

"I was woken up by the sound of loud banging at 0800 on a Saturday morning; when I asked the front desk what the noise was, they told me renovations were taking place on the 2nd floor, and that they were taking place all day, everyday (including weekends). This information was not provided to us before, during, or after we checked in, and now the hotel is telling hotels.com that we did not speak to them about it (so they can avoid paying out any form of compensation). If I could leave them zero stars, I would."

"Place was clean, hot rub not too much as we could see dirt, bugs and other things in it, Before booking i checked with owner if the hot tub is for 6 people which i was told it was but even 4 of us had issue while sitting in hot tub. As it felt congested. Hot tub is good for 3 people and maybe 4 max."

"A cosy, clean and secure property, in a leafy, close-to-town area. Very nice - and extremely quiet, which was great!! There are grocery stores close by and downtown is a short drive or bus/train trip. Our host, Akshay, was very responsive and helpful when we contacted him.My only criticism - and it is not serious - is that the description is slightly off. There is no outdoor space as the flat is on the third floor, with no balcony, so of course, there is no barbecue grill either. Although it isn't required, I think it would be a good idea to indicate that the property is on the third floor, too, only because that might be a problem for some potential guests.As I said, this is not serious criticism and we had a lovely stay!!"

"This was our last stop of our 3 week travel around the country and exactly what we needed to wind down. The cottage is lovely, roomy and clean. Coffee in the hot tub in the morning was divine. As with very other rental, this one also had no oven mitts??? We had very little communication from the hosts but we didn’t have any issues or requirements so that was fine. We would definitely recommend the Tay Lodge!"
