"Outstanding service"

"The stay itself was pleasant. We didn't get to use the amenities that the resort fee covered other than the pool. The view from both sides was nice. We had a view of the airport which was fun for my plane-loving son and me. The room was well-insulated so the airport noise was minimal. Everything seemed well-maintained and the staff members were very nice. Parking is expensive at $55 a day, but at least there were spots available each time. What I didn't enjoy was being charged more than the closing receipt amount (which included the $105 in fees each day), leaving a voicemail, and having no one respond for several days after which I called again. Seems shady to be charged more without a separate folio showing why. I understand being responsible for more charges but not secretly. Turns out they added a $46 a day charge for my 10 year old being "an adult" even though he was added to the room at booking with that age. Bizarre and not relayed as an accident but ultimately recovered."

"This hotel is in desperate need of repairs and I do not recommend staying here. First off, our room door was broken and would not close properly. One of the maids had to help us close it and even admitted that a handy man had just been there earlier in the day to try to fix it, but was clearly unable to. Also, the sprinkler in the bathroom over the sink kept leaking and the door had no lock. It's a glass door. The parking is way too expensive at $50 and another thirty some dollars for ameneties that I didn't even use! Overall, the hotel is overpriced in every aspect. I will not be returning!"

"The staff were super helpful and welcoming. I asked for extra towels and I had them in less than 10 minutes. They were also very helpful and knowledgeable when telling me about the hotel. That being said the pictures and rooms are very dated. The carpet is filthy and the windows don’t shut all the way. Beds are doubles so definitely felt small and we only got 2 pillows per bed which is fine. You definitely get what you pay for but this definitely isn’t the nicest hotel."

"We liked the beach view a lot. What we weren't happy about was the fact that the staff were not upfront in telling us that they assigned us to a room with stairs. All they asked was if any in our party has a disability. They wish they were more upfront in asking how do we feel about being assigned to an upstairs room with no elevator. Honesty plays a big role in customer service. So we declined the upstairs room because of my son's preference. He liked the previous rooms that we had before where the beach is easily accessible. Long story short, our room took a good 1 hour from the check in time to be ready. They were nice to offer us a snack voucher "for free" while waiting for the room. It could've been nice (again) if the voucher was indeed complimentary but it wasn't. They charged us for the snack in our final bill."
