"The location was great - close for walking into town. The room was very comfy, the charm of an old building but the comfort of modern updates. I enjoyed the large room, the cozy duvets and big windows. We had a lovely nightcap at the bar where we had great service from Greg, the bartender, who was very charming."

No draft beer on sale Unable to order a sandwich in the evening as we hadn't ordered earlier. everything else was great. enjoyed the swimming pool. comfortable beds clean room. would stay again"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a last-minute booking made at around 8:30pm on the day of arrival for a two-night stay. Just 90 minutes after booking, we arrived at the hotel. There is no reception and the hotel operates a self-check-in system, but everything was incredibly smooth and straightforward. The hotel itself is beautiful — full of character, very clean and extremely well maintained. Our room was lovely, and the bathroom was spotless, comfortable and pleasant. The free parking was a massive bonus, and the location is excellent — just 1.1 miles from Montpellier, with its great selection of restaurants and bars. A fantastic independent hotel with real character, excellent standards and a great location. We will definitely be making this our go-to accommodation whenever we stay in Cheltenham. Highly recommended!"
