There were several restaurants within walking distance along with a few shops. There is train station a few blocks away. Cerro Santa Lucia is just a few blocks away as well. "Hostel in Santiago I had originally booked this hostel for a week, but changed my mind and only booked for 1 day. Not because I didn't like the place, but because my plans had changed. I had my own room with a shared bathroom and toilet. The room consisted of a double bed, a chest of drawers and a fan to give me some cool air in the heat.
