This is an old lifeboat station used for many of years to rescue ships run aground on this rocky coastline. This is the most southerly point of Britain. Here are some amazing villages in and around the Lizard. Known for its rocks which have a red vein going through them.

It was unusual but really well presented and everything was catered for - the gifts left by Paul and Sharon were appreciated too and I loved that they left treats, dog bowls and a towel for Maisie - a lovely touch. It was tranquil and I definitely felt chilled by the end of my stay - I did find it a little out of the way but once I had my bearings (and ignored google maps which seemed set on sending me the long way round so that I met with tractors...
