"This hotel is simple. We were there to enjoy Joshua Tree National Park so we didn't need luxury. We just wanted a hot, clean shower and to sleep on clean beds. This hotel delivered. This hotel is a bare minimum room. "

"We got a balcony on the 2nd floor the screen door was broken. The A/C didnt cool the room so we kept the balcony door open, having to adjust the broken screen. These were reported. The desk staff and servers were excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable on the nearby restaurants and tours."

"We stayed in Joe’s Tavern and it was great. The place is very clean and the bed was comfortable. Just beware the shower is downstairs and it does get colder down in the bathroom than the upstairs. I would also suggest having a luggage holder or something in the downstairs bathroom since there’s no where to hold your clothes. Also the upstairs bathroom has a picture of an old lady that creeped me out a little, kind of reminded me of the haunted mansion. Overall it was a great stay and I would totally suggest it for couples or for a friends trip. "

"Perfect 2 night stay. Beautiful room - modern, useful features like toilet paper holder was climbing rope and carabiner on a hook. Classy stone floor and peaceful grounds with desert flair and outdoor seating. All this a very comfortable bed, great shower and so easy to get too."
