"Great lake house! We celebrated our annual family Labor Day get together at this beautiful lake house property. The house is what you hope for as far as lake house views. The listing pictures do not do the house justice, even better in person. Everyone had their own space and almost every room had wonderful views. The host was super with communication and check in was a breeze. We had a few minor issues with our stay but nothing major. We have been celebrating Labor Day in Lake Placid for the last 6 years and every year we rent a different property to experience all of the recreational lakes in Highlands county. With that being said we always make sure to dissect the listing to make sure the property is able to accommodate the proper number of guests and activities wanted. There was no indication in the listing that we could not have have an inflatable slide, as most listing include that if it is an issue not to mention this listing even advertised parties and celebrations welcomed. After the slide being paid for in full (375) and delivered after one day of use we were contacted aggressively to have the slide deflated and removed. Our other issue is the house AC is not nearly appropriate for the window exposure & size of the house. We would have to keep the blinds drawn all day just to keep the house cool enough to sleep semi comfortable at night. We know this must be a known issue because there is a split AC unit installed in the master bedroom. Overall a great property."

"House was nice, the water was low as they haven’t have much rain. Caught a few medium size bass. Unfortunately we found a few roaches around the kitchen and night time. but I’m sure they will take care of it."
