We wish there was better communication from the property, especially for check-in, as well as more availability for the "front-desk" which was never open while we were there. "This unit is not in Sao Roque. It is 20 minutes away. It was very difficult to find the unit. It is a nice house in a beautiful little remote village. Has an amazing view and is very close to the local natural pool. The restaurant served great food but does close early. "

"What a great host and the setting was absolutely heavenly. We came so my wife and daughters experience Pico as it was the home of my Avo and Ava who where from Lages do Pico and they get to know there heritage. We will return again for a much longer stay and the people of the Pico are warm and friendly will to assist.
