"The property is really unique and we loved our stay in our cottage. We wish there was better communication from the property, especially for check-in, as well as more availability for the "front-desk" which was never open while we were there. "This unit is not in Sao Roque. It is 20 minutes away. It was very difficult to find the unit. It is a nice house in a beautiful little remote village. Has an amazing view and is very close to the local natural pool. The restaurant served great food but does close early. "

"Nice quite location with a great view. There is a natural swimming pool down the road with a cafe to eat with a great view as well. Pico is amazing. Must drive the whole island to see all the various landscaping."

"Fatima is a wonderful host. She very warm to welcome us, hospitable and kind to show us the house and amenities and very helpful to facilitate any issues. Also, she’s nice to recommend best restaurants to eat and islands to visit. Overall we had a great time staying in Pico Island especially to her place. Her house is so beautiful, fully equipped and very clean. Her house is very highly recommendable."

"What a great host and the setting was absolutely heavenly. We came so my wife and daughters experience Pico as it was the home of my Avo and Ava who where from Lages do Pico and they get to know there heritage. We will return again for a much longer stay and the people of the Pico are warm and friendly will to assist. "The house location was good, the village and the natural pool very nice. *****BUT****** the house was not at all the one described. Only 2 rooms instead of 3 announced ! "The property is really unique and we loved our stay in our cottage. There are not a lot of options for food in walking distance (or even just in the nearby town) so we definitely utilized the kitchen for breakfast and snacks (and even dinner one night). "
