"It was comfortable for the 3 nights we were there. We liked it has a kitchenette and fridge. It was very basic but everything worked. Bed is a pull out sofa and was ok. It's hard to find the place, Google maps sends you the wrong way. Gate is stuck by maybe that's a French thing. It's tricky to open the door, but the owner showed us how to do it. The owners are nice. The Internet didn't work. The owner gave us access to their own Internet but it was very slow. The description mentions there...

"Nous étions quatre voyageurs, cela impliquait que l’un de nous dorme sur le canapé lit. Le problème est que celui ci n’était pas fonctionnel. Nous ne pouvions l’ouvrir complètement à cause de la déformation de l’une des barres métalliques de la structure, bloquant l’ouverture complète du canapé lit. J’ai donc dû sortir le matelas et dormir à même le sol. De plus la fenêtre de la chambre double ne se fermait pas, la poignée restait bloquée en position intermédiaire. "

Le logement est vraiment très beau, décoré avec soin, et surtout d’un calme incroyable… Rien ne manque, tout est pensé pour qu’on se sente bien, comme à la maison.Un immense merci aussi à Jacques et Julie pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité."

"We booked in Caen for several weeks prior to the Marathon de la Liberte. The location was an easy walk to the SNCF station, Les Rives de l'Orne shopping area and the Prairie. Nice walk to city center and points of interest. Easy access to public transit. Wonderful bakery just around the corner. Saturday morning market several blocks away.We made good use of the washing machine in the kitchen. The fridge does not have a freezer, but had sufficient room for perishables. Good Wi-Fi service....

"This was our last night of a two week vacation in France. We spent the night at this nice apartment in Caen. We were able to easily find street parking near the apartment. The Caen Castle was a short walk from the apartment as were plenty of good places to eat and shop."
