The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room. "The owner made us very welcome and kept in touch before, during and at the rnd of the stay. The house is spacious, clean and caters for larger groups very well. Location is just 15 min walk from the cathederal and all if the bars. Pool was great, given the july temperatures. Supermarket is a few hundred yards away too Highly recommended."

"Although a little way out from anywhere it was a lovely relaxing break for us. We own a pub so peace and quiet was what we wanted and that’s what we got. The property is even better than looked in the photos but didn’t realise that Jacques and his wife were living upstairs so not as private as we thought. A lovely place and would recommend it"

"We stayed for 2 weeks, the property was exactly as described and very clean and well maintained. Pool and garden were a huge hit with the kids, and the location is quiet with shops and nice restaurants nearby. A short drive to the coast and to other attractions so suitable if you have a car and want to explore away from the busy coastal resorts and roads."
