"We enjoyed our stay at the Art Gallery hotel. While the hotel is dated and could use updating, the value for money is quite good. The location is excellent - very walkable to the Acropolis and dining. The staff were pleasant and helpful with local recommendations. One minor complaint: one staff member liked to sit outside and smoke on the front steps, and the smoke wafted in and up to the corridor outside our room. All in all, I would recommend this for a budget hotel option in Athens."

I came early before check in, girl at the front looked annoyed, and told me to wait until check in time. Then 2 men walked in a few mins later and she immediately checked them in. After witnessing that, I went to her and checked in. I won’t speculate why she gave the men immediate attention. But as a female, I’m aware of authority gap between men and women. "We loved this hotel. It was our 8th hotel in Port Europe trip and one of our favorites. Right close to everything yet just off the body area so it is very quiet at night. We absolutely loved the rest contactless check on and check out that enabled is an easy ingression on a very late arrival. The room was enormous, AC worked well, and the staff were so helpful and gave is great suggestions for where to eat and have some fun.
