"Great stay here. Lovely room, very effective aircon which was appreciated during the heat. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, couldn’t be closer to the Acropolis and the museum and the Plaka area full of great restaurants and bars. Quiet in the hotel though. Comfy bed - slept very well. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Art Gallery hotel. While the hotel is dated and could use updating, the value for money is quite good. The location is excellent - very walkable to the Acropolis and dining. The staff were pleasant and helpful with local recommendations. One minor complaint: one staff member liked to sit outside and smoke on the front steps, and the smoke wafted in and up to the corridor outside our room. All in all, I would recommend this for a budget hotel option in Athens."
