"The hotel was quite a walk from the train stations and dining options. Check-in took forever as you need to scan each person’s passport, and we had 2 rooms. The rooms were extremely small - the smallest we had out of six hotels we have stayed at in Japan. The laundry facilities were ok but the dryers took almost 3 hours."

"The staff spoke English and were very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. It’s in Asakusa but just outside the madness. Kappabashi is around the corner, Ueno station/park is walkable. An easy walk to the Sumida River. Just outside the entrance are a great cafe, bakery, Izakaya, and a yakitori stand!"

"The hotel is in a great location to use the transit system. Staff was friendly and breakfast was exceptional. Rooms are super small as is the bathroom. We felt like we were in a camper. You are not welcome to use the pool if you have tattoos. Perhaps they should discount the room since they’re limiting the amenities. Overall good stay, quiet hotel."

"Rooms are small and yet function extremely well, like a ship’s cabin. I was traveling alone, so it was perfect. It will be tight for two but the savings justify the size."

"The good features are excellent staff and near public transportation. But, the bad is no A/C control in room, a confusing check in procedure (why is something so simple made difficult!) and a poor restuarant."
