"Maybe not many people know this place, but Royal Indah Cabin is a hidden gem worth staying at. It’s easy to find on Google Maps, has large parking, friendly staff, and includes breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom are clean, the water heater works well, and the lake and mountain views are amazing.
It’s also close to Dermaga Kedisan and a minimarket, which makes it really convenient. Just small note: the pillows are quite firm, so it was a bit less comfortable for sleeping. And in the morning, if...

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Aurora Holiday House in Kintamani, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this is the place to be.
"
"Nous sommes restés une nuit. Villas au pied du volcan, ce qui nous a permis de partir avec notre guide (réservé via Kamaru Villas, merci, Ayu était au top). La source chaude de chaque villa est un très grand avantage, cela fait extrêmement du bien 👍😀 villas au calme, avec possibilité de manger le soir."
"The stay here was very peaceful and relaxing. Our host set us up with a driver for the day to take us everywhere since getting a taxi is harder there. They cooked breakfast for us and were super nice. "
"Quiet, long way from the main areas in town. Generally clean and tidy, staff helpfull. Bit hard to find, up a dirt road near some onion farms. Some of the fixtures and finishing need more work. Thought a bit too expensive for what it offers especially for better placed accommodation in Kintamani."

We stayed a week for our 25th anniversary. Perfect for that occasion. It would be inappropriate with children, infirm or elderly - stone stairs to anywhere, lots of quiet, mostly honeymooners. The staff made an effort to learn our names/circumstances and seemed sincerely invested in our good stay. Shout out to Mira. All day long, the cooked-to-order western and eastern food was amazing (the best/cheapest filet mignon you will find), and we especially enjoyed the included luxurious afternoon tea...

During our first night there we had some issues with the air conditioner, which the staff tried to resolve straight away and kept on checking on during our whole stay to make sure that it was working fine and that we were comfortable. There is also a clinic on site which was very helpful as my mom fell sick during our trip and to make us feel right at home the hotel sent us a Get Well Soon bouquet to our room. Beautiful grounds, excellent service, except for my butler he needs to clean the room better. The pool is lovely but it needs more steps or a rail to hold on.

Tejaprana was a small oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. The property was beautiful and really provided a sense of calmness and serenity. I enjoyed the fact that there were a limited number of villas, so you never felt like things were crowded or too many people. The staff were excellent and cared for all your needs, all while remembering your name every time they saw you. Those small customer service offerings make a huge difference and really what I have come to expect when...

As a solo female traveler I felt so safe and I was treated incredibly well. The staff says that they want you to feel at home and the do everything to make you feel that way. The room was very large with a gorgeous balcony. I still dream about the bathtub, pool and the room service was delicious. I also tried the floating breakfast and flower bath, AMAZING! The shuttle service was great but the location was so convenient that I didn’t even need it. I plan to stay here again in the future.

The property is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. We really liked the location; found it to be very walkable -- close to main shopping area, short walk to the Monkey Forest ... but on a quiet street. We stayed in the Bisma Jungle View room. Good amount of space and lovely balcony. Oddly placed bathtub in middle of room.
The rooftop pool is a great place to watch the sunset.
Breakfast included with our room was very good every day. We also enjoyed complimentary afternoon tea from 3-5...
