Rondout

Kingston's historic Rondout neighborhood charms visitors with cobblestone streets that wind toward scenic waterways. This 19th-century port district preserves its maritime heritage through limestone warehouses now housing galleries and restaurants. The Hudson River Maritime Museum showcases the area's industrial past in a restored steamboat building. Stroll along waterfront promenades where Rondout Creek meets the mighty Hudson River. Watch boats dock at working marinas while the Rondout Lighthouse stands guard offshore.
