"Walked in the lobby to ask where the restaurant was to have lunch. A younger gentlemen greeted me with “Rooms won’t be ready for another 20, is there anything else I can help you with?” I turned around and walked out of the lobby and located the restaurant myself. Excellent. Waitstaff, excellent. View/ambiance, excellent. After lunch went to check in and luckily the younger gentleman was no longer at the desk. Praise be. Easy check in, went to room and it was a nice, clean room but it also overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It’s truly a 10/10 location, and if that younger gentleman wasn’t employed there as a customer facing person that has to use their mouth to communicate. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling up Highway 1"

"We stay here when visiting King City, always a great stay. We got an upstairs room and it was very roomy. They don’t have rollaway beds but we made it work. We needed an extra blanket and towels and the lady cleaning the rooms was very friendly! "

"Pinnacles Ranch is perfect for a visit to Pinnacles National Park. It is minutes from the east entrance. Also the house is well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay again! "

"My husband and I stayed in this wonderful home with one of our best friends. We wanted a long weekend of hiking, relaxing, reading, and most generally, re-energizing. At least four elements put this property at the top of our favorite stays…the views from every room are spectacular! We are fortunate enough to have stayed in many high-end rental homes/cabins/hotels and this property offers one of the best views of our gorgeous Big Sur coastline. I can’t say enough about it!! The owners, Dave and Nicole responded clearly and quickly to our questions, which allows the pre-planning to run so smoothly. Next, this home is set up in a thoughtful and detailed manner (i.e. a note posted above the radiant heat thermostat to explain its operation) which was delightful to encounter each day of our stay! And perhaps I’m saving the best for last…The caretakers of the property Melissa annd Daniel are sweet, competent, never intrusive, and available to answer any questions. The property is fairly isolated and off the grid, so we were reassured knowing they were fairly close, should we need them…but we didn’t!I highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to experience a slice of Big Sur heaven!"
