"We had a three night stay as this was a good base for visiting Stratford and several National Trust houses nearby. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly but not proactive. ie, didn't notice plates, bowls, etc. that had been finished with and could be removed when they brought other items to the table. The breakfast was good, but the hot water flasks meant the tea was tepid. We ate in the restaurant each night and enjoyed some good, wholesome food. "

Bar was closed for the duration. No TV remote in the room, but they did provide when asked. Had to borrow a (leaky) iron from front desk but no board provided"
