"Excellent staff very friendly and the food was very good indeed. Cosy and intimate bar which welcomed our dog and we enjoyed our meals. We stayed in the cottage opposite so very easy. Room was lovely and clean bathroom good size a more comfortable bed would be beneficial for future but fully recommend. "

"When i arrived I was not sure where to go and got to meet Ralphaldo who is the concierge that put me straight in the hotel's golf buggy and took me to the reception. He was great to talk to and was a lovely person to chat with and so cheerful. The suite was amazing and spacious, it was also clean and spotless. The staff were lovely and were extremely helpful in the restaurants and made wonderful suggestions. The food was amazing, each restaurant was great and had their own wonderful menus"

"From the moment I walked in, to that when I left, the staff were superb. Available to help when required, helped to create a great environment. Pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub were used in the evening and morning, clean towels available at reception each time. Breakfast, again helpful and food was good too. Would stay again and will be. "The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not. After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about.
