Erich and Suzy were super kind and helpful with recommendations for things to do and places to go. The pool was fantastic and breakfast was delicious. Definitely a place that warrants a return visit. "This is a beautiful place and quite clean. They also have a cache of masks, snorkel, chairs and other beach items which is helpful. We used this cottage as base camp to visit Volcanoes NP. It is a good option if you have a rental car. They don't call it the "Big Island" for nothing. There is a lot of windshield time when traveling the area. My only constructive criticism of this property, as well as almost all other VRBOs, is to reduce the unnecessary furniture, bookshelves, and tchotchkes that are used to make it feel "homie". The owners are really responsive and getting in and out was simple. Very, very cool place."
