"Off the beaten path, this rental is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood just six blocks from the ocean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time on the eastern side of Hawaii. The owner was friendly and responsive throughout the entire rental experience."

"Older home but well kept on the inside. It was a good space for our family. Conveniently near where we needed to be. Host was very responsive. The deck off of the bedroom was cute but some string lights would make it more accessible at night. We loved the outdoor shower but it could also use some string lights when it gets dark. There was no AC but with windows opened and fans on, the house cools down a lot."

"What a relaxing atmosphere! I would definitely come back if we ever get the opportunity. Area was remote and away from activities and stores but that is why it is such a good escape and we didn’t mind the drive. We enjoyed daily walks on the old lava flow to ocean but have just has good of a view from the porch."

"Location was great! The neighborhood was quiet and super close to the water- perfect for sunrises!!The house was nice, but a little tired. Having beach towels and chairs available was a nice feature! The house got pretty warm while we were there, even with fans and the windows open. This may sound crazy, but turning lights on and off in this house was a challenge (remote controls for each light that didn’t always work - frustrating)Lol!Over all, we had a great time on that side of the island!"
