Top Five Rated Vacation Rental In Pahoa , Discounted Rates in November!
10/10 Excellent
"First Madame Mango (cat) is a great ambassador for the property. From the first day, she would greet us upon arrival. The instructions Matt gave us led us right to the property. Grounds - It was quiet, very green, beautiful grounds and a cacophony of birds singing us to sleep at night. We were able to pick and eat some of the fruit on the property. Very peaceful walking the grounds and taking pictures. House - The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. Loved sitting on the patio at night with of course Mango’s company. The outdoor shower was so great! Just a beautiful place. Host - Matt was very responsive and we literally lacked for nothing while we were there. All in all i would certainly stay there again. "
"Nice place to sleep while we were enjoying various activities around the island. Please read the amenities. If you are coming from the main land and are custom to A/C. Please note that A/C is an amenitie on the Hawaiian Islands. If you get past that, the weather is fairly comfortable, ceiling fan and a floor fan was provided. Leave the windows open for a breeze. Comfy bed and in a secluded area. Thanks for the memories. Everyday we had a visitor, I knew it was going to be a great day!"
"Beautiful large space attached to hosts house, so if you need anything they are right there. Had everything we needed except a coffee pot, but we made do. Comfy beds, huge screened place to sit."
"Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it.
Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin."
"We recently returned to this VRBO rental about a year after our first visit, and we’re happy to report that it’s just as fantastic as we remembered!•Consistency: The property remains in excellent condition, and it’s clear the host continues to maintain it to a very high standard.•Cleanliness: Spotless, just like our first visit. Attention to detail in cleanliness is one of this rental’s strongest points.•Host: Once again, the host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They are friendly, accommodating, and very responsive. We were thrilled to have another positive experience here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this rental again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained place!"
"Overall a pleasant, memorable stay at a very unique location. The check-in process was smooth, with the manager meeting us at the house upon arrival. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Every room was decorated with a special touch and had a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. "
Spacious & Modern Pāhoa Retreat Near Kehena Beach!
10/10 Excellent
"10 of us stayed July 15-22, 2025. Two families plus an extra niece and my daughter's boyfriend. There was plenty of space to spread out or come together. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with any pan or skillet you need. The gated entrance added to the peace of the house. The house looks just like the pictures. We wanted a place out of town but not isolated, and boy did we find it! This place is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet community where you can sit outside and enjoy the sounds of nature. "
