"Wow! Wow! Wow!!! This place is just as amazing, if not more, than the pictures you see here. This was an INCREDIBLE rental! We only stayed 2 nights but if I lived in Hawaii this is exactly where I would want to be. Loved the short walk to the ocean over lava rock to take in the incredible views up and down the shoreline. The unit was very clean, mattress was very comfy (a little bit of a climb to get into the bed), bed and bath linens were superb especially the bath towels!! Check in and out were very simple. I would absolutely stay here again. It was peaceful, relaxing, gorgeous.....we felt like we were in a movie! High class for sure. I have never stayed in a short-stay that even came CLOSE to the experience we had while we were here!Seperate note for future guests that is not related to the rental: I wouldn't count on door dash in this area."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hoomakai Blessings, a lovely little bed and breakfast on the Hilo side of the big island. Kelly is a kind and gracious host who went out of her way to work with my unforeseen itinerary changes and I really appreciated her help and positive attitude. My bed was soft and comfortable and the outdoor hot tub was just what my sore body needed after a long trek around the island. Breakfast consisted of a delicious southwestern style breakfast burrito and homemade muffins with a nice assortment of teas and a constantly available pot of hot coffee. In case you forget to bring them, Kelly even supplies earplugs for the nighttime coqui frogs and the morning roosters. Mahalo nui loa Kelly!"
