"This is a guest house beside the owner's place. The room was clean and spacious and the weather at the end of March was so comfortable that we didn't have to switch on the AC at night. However, it did get very hot in the day so we opened the windows to let the hot air out. Also, a few very cute and friendly cats also live on the property. Loved the place!"

"The room was clean, the sheets were clean, there was a fridge, the host had clearly made an intentional effort to make the place clean and inviting. The bathroom is separate, down a short hallway, but you have your own. They have built out two small rooms, and each has its own bathroom. If you want a resort, this is not it. I'll say that, but it's better. It's tucked far away in a quiet neighborhood with no tourists, and no noise. I really just wanted a place to sleep while I was out exploring during the day, and that's what this place is! One of my favorite memories from our entire trip was just getting up early and going for a walk in the neighborhood, not seeing another person, and hearing nothing but the birds and the wind. It really is tucked far away from life in the best possible way. (That being said there's a town just a couple miles up the road) If you want to feel like a traveler in Hawaii, not a tourist, this is it. There was one minor issue that popped up while we stayed, I shot the host a message and they had it solved within 20 minutes. They really are good people who care, care about the quality of their place, and act accordingly. They went out of their way to come say hello and ask if we needed anything when we showed up, and actually even let me borrow a charging cord when I left mine at home. Good people, great place, comfy bed, unbeatable price. "

"Everything about our stay was top notch. The host was very welcoming from the initial booking all the way through check-in, and the property manager was extremely friendly and helpful.The house is in a beautiful location and very comfortable. We would have loved to stay even longer."

"Multiple power outages, one over 24 hours for non payment of power bill. Literally no fewer than 20 rat terrier dogs across the street that bark constantly day and night. No quiet. "

"We did enjoy our stay but I could see this being a bit of a problem house for some. It is a nice house and property but I think the grounds and outside could be a little tidier. As for the inside, it was cool to cold at times. We didn't find extra blankets except for on the other bed in the kids' room, the coffee maker was acting up, the hair dryer didn't work and just little details were missing.Overall it was a good stay because we don't require much. A good coffee maker so we could use the provided k-cups, a few blankets and perhaps a space heater or two would've been nice additions.Lastly, if we were to use any of the equipment for the beach we would've had to clean the mold off it all. Masks, snorkels and I am assuming everything else was covered! We didn't use any of it. This home seemed to have been forgotten a little bit."
