"Room was ok but slightly tatty, given the status of the "suite" - decor was damaged, sinks were cracked, air con kept switching off. Breakfast was HIGHLY disappointing for the price!!"

"It was fine other than the check in. The woman on reception was very rude - before I even had chance to say anything she barked, 'What's your surname?'. As I'd just booked and she couldn't imemdiately find the reservation she was clearly annoyed. Left a very sour taste. The woman on reception when I checked out (who I've dealt with before and think is South African) was as friendly as ever. "

"Lovely staff, very good breakfast and choice. The room had a strange smell (possibly from newish carpet?) Staff provided air fresheners immediately and all was good. Parking is great at £4 for the night. All in all, an enjoyable stay and would definitely return."

"The hotel's access is a bit mysterious. When we reached to the correct place to check-in, we were introduced to the staff at that moment who made us feel that we are a burden on them. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and we were okay with waiting for the start of check-in time. However, we were also curious if we could do early check-in, and when we asked for availability, the staff working at that moment first showed horrific emotions as if we asked for something impossible, and then they started mumbling in their own native language. Whenever we were trying to have a conversation with them, they always cut us off and spoke too fast as if they have no time and they have to catch a train. After some time when they found a room for us to check-in early, they acted as they are doing a favour on us. All in all it was a very bad experience and it ruined our excitement to explore Manchester."

"The worst room ever, NO TOWELS, NO TOILET, NO SHOWER. I don’t understand why this property is still allowed to host anyone. This was probably the worst hotel and should not be hosting any guests. No staff after 9 so access to property is via the yard in the back going up a slippery metal staircase in the rain. Instructions to get in were unclear and sketchy. I had to call the mobile phone provided and a lady helped out to get the codes. When I eventually got in, the area stinks and unkept. Then you have to access the room via a locked key box which was a nightmare to open. When you get into the room there’s a very old and shabby bed, insufficient linen and very cheap furniture. Very uncomfortable throughout. When I was looking for an iron to press my shirt there was nothing. Trying to have a bath and the shared bathroom was filthy, wet on the floor dirty inside and no soap provided The toilet had wee on the floor and toilet seat. I would like my money back please as I feel that I was subjected to the worst conditions possible Thank you "

"We stayed as a group at the property for a concert at co-op live it was a 20min walk away. We loved that there was a pool table, house was clean and tidy and had everything we needed."
