"I had an amazing solo stay at Akra Hotel, especially after having to switch hotels, and I’m so glad I chose this one. My room was wonderful with a beautiful view, and I really enjoyed using room service. The chamomile tea was a highlight for me—I had it every night and it helped me relax and sleep so well. This was also my first time trying Turkish coffee, which was a great experience. I dined at Pablito’s restaurant as well as the restaurant on the 10th floor, and both were excellent. I also loved being able to shop downstairs for gifts and bring chocolates back home for my family. The poolside area was incredibly relaxing and added to the overall peaceful vibe of my stay. I especially want to recognize Atiya from Guest Services. She was kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Her warmth and professionalism made my stay even more special. Overall, this was an amazing solo trip, and Akra Hotel played a big part in that. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Internet was good. The room was ok quite small with a double bed. In my opinion the wardrobe was too small for 2 people staying for 2 weeks not enough room so most things were left in the suitcases. All staff were very helpfull so we tipped individually as the tip boxes so we were told went to the hotel itself not the staff. Pool area was good but not used. All areas were very clean all the time."

"From the moment we stepped off the elevator onto the dirty, stained, musty smelling carpet on the way to the room, hopes of a enjoyable experience were eliminated. The room reserved through expedia was not the room described. The room was very small, too small for 2 adults, no area for luggage, and an A/C system that turns off everytime the patio door is opened. The curtain rod was tied to the open clothes rack because it was pulled off the wall, dust webs in the corner of the room from not being cleaned, dirty laundry left hanging on the drying rods on the patio, & the bathroom door frame broken and rotting at the floor, & a light bulb needed replacement showing the room was not properly cleaned and inspected. The information Expedia had listed was not accurate. When I notified & showed the front desk the discrepancies, they told me the policies were old and they have not been revised in years (false advertising). Policies listed when I booked that the hotel did not honor: 1) Luxury Room - small, not large enough for 2 people 2) Swimming pool hours until 10 pm - changed to 7 pm 3) Breakfast buffet from 7:30 am to 10 am - changed to 8 am to 10 am, most of the food was not fresh & poor selection 4) No direct beach access or free cabanas-Transfer fee required to go to the beach 5) Airport shuttle is a taxi The hotel is outdated, the kitchen staff is not friendly, the reception staff is pleasant, but overall this hotel ruined the trip. Horrible end to a vacation. "
