"The building is old. The unit bath was very narrow and the toilet was old and dirty. There was no outlet in the bathroom so we couldn't use a hair dryer etc. The steps to the loft bed were too steep and when we sat down our heads almost hit the ceiling. Easy couple of subway stops to the action of Shinjuku, but at the same time a lovely quiet neighbourhood with plenty of local food options as well.
