"Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway."

"We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend on your houseboat. As hosts, there is nothing you havent thought of ❤️ So many personal touches to make the weekend memorable. Dont worry if you forget something, chances are its already there 😊 Pack your clothes & go. Sunsets, sunrises & birdlife are magnificent. Thankyou we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"Lovely, peaceful stay for a special occasion or just a getaway for a night! The Shiraz Homestead was so spacious, loved the big bedrooms, one with a four poster king-sized bed which was lovely & comfortable. The deck was perfect for an afternoon wine and morning coffee/ breakfast that is supplied at the cottage. Great spa bath to relax. Thank you for a beautiful stay and the complimentary bottle of delicious wine. "
