"Whilst a stunning hotel, in an amazing location our initial arrival was marred by poor communication and poor customer service. We tried to explain how it impacted our trip but it fell on deaf ears. By the time it was sorted, it was too late and we were deflated. What should have been an amazing stay became a frustration. The in-house dining did not suit us but we at least forewarned by the poor reviews of that online so we came prepared. We never got to try the pools due to our delayed shuttle...

"Friendly staff and room was very clean. Also they offer barista coffee at reception so will try next stay. 😀"

"Excellent hotel, just off main street, clean and comfortable"

"Room was beautiful, location you can’t fault if you want animals around you and the views are amazing. Couple down falls for me: Hair in the drawer of the vanity from the previous guest/s Friendly spiders one on the wall and one in the bed which led to a horrible sleep as I was constantly nervous about spiders in the bed Sticky floor round the kitchen area."

"Great property. Visit many times. Always clean, well planned out, good bars and restaurant reasonably priced. Food not outstanding but good, plenty of variety. Rooms beautiful and quiet with balcony overlooking town or river. Will be back."

"All was good.we did have a problem with ants even though we had no food there. It was a shame there was no spray.. got help from an outsider."

"We had a large spacious room, king bed with lovely bedding. Very spacious, comfortable shower with all the amenities. Overall a very comfortable stay and excellent customer service from Rishani."

"Really enjoyed the property, room and surrounding area. Only problem was that we did not receive any instructions on getting into our room and had to ring the staff for access. Other than that, perfect, would stay there again!"

"My wife uses a wheelchair. The assessable room is perfect for someone with limited mobility. There is no off street parking. Street parking in front of units is unrestricted. The breakfast provisions are more than adequate and the communal kitchen is the best that I seen anywhere. Location is great over the road from the Pretoria Hotel that has a great dinner menu."

"Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend."

"Wonderful property So peaceful. Perfectly and thoughtfully styled Can't wait to retuen"
