"This is a beautiful hotel. Our room had been recently updated and had a patio. We were surrounded by mountains. Our room had a view of 4 waterfalls coming through the mountains. The breakfast was delicious. It included specialty coffees and provided for my dietary needs (gluten and dairy intolerant). It has a lovely pool and great amenities. A complimentary bus is provided for visiting surrounding towns."

"Very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. Love the convenience of the grocery store as well as the proximity to the cable car to Oeschinensee. Very nice restaurant on site. They also have fantastic jacuzzi tubs that rotate to the outside for an indoor-outdoor hot tub experience. Our room had a round bed! "

"Kandersteg, located in the Swiss Alps, is a true winter wonderland. The small village is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, making it the perfect destination for a winter getaway. Hotel Alpina sits about a 10min walk from the train station. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. More options for breakfast would have been nice but overall it was a great stay. We arrived 2 days before

season so had to venture to grindelwald where everything was also closed so best to check the...
