"Very beautiful hotel that truly wants to provide their guests with a beautiful &relaxing stay. We were greeted with aloha each day by staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We were given an upgrade to a king suite which added to a wonderful 35th anniversary stay here. There were gorgeous orchids to pin in your hair or on your sun hat each day. I really enjoyed that, thank you Maui Coast. We put to use the refillable water bottles and the hospitality suite was such a nice amenity at no extra cost. It was great to have access to the pools that day, since we had an evening departure flight. Such a relaxing last day. I’ve never seen that offered in any places I’ve stayed. There were just so many pleasant things that I would not have wanted to stay anywhere else on the island. If we were to return to Maui again, this is where I would want to stay. Aloha lives here. "Diane’s unit at Shores of Maui was amazing. I like to cook and bake a lot of my meals, she had tons of kitchen supplies to cook and bake with. This unit is perfect location too, right by the ocean. I grew up coming here and the property was in perfect shape and very well taken care of."

"This was a fabulous property. The owner spoke with us personally before the stay, so going in we felt prepared and at home when we arrived. He was able to accommodate our early check in request and also sent a welcome text or two during the stay to make sure all was well. The check in/out was much easier than other properties. I wish other VRBOs would follow his streamlined protocol. We had everything we could possibly need -and more. Even during unseasonable heat/humidity, the unit stayed cool and quiet. The bed and linens were fine hotel quality and superior to most other short term rentals. The views from both sides of the unit were breathtaking and the windows blocked the street noise below. There was a fabulous takeout breakfast and sandwich shop on the ground level of the building, so we ate on the balcony each day and watched some very competative volleyball going on in the park across the street. Although it was just two of us, I could see a couple and a few kids enjoying all the outdoor equipment that came with the unit. One of Maui's most famous food pods was a few steps away."

"The house is spacious and comfortable in every way. There were 7 of us on this trip and there was plenty of room to both congregate and to retreat to a quiet space. We got a kick out of the chickens on the roof one morning. The beach and beach park are a couple of blocks away. We can recommend Miso Phat, down Kihei Road toward Wailea. Try the TNT roll for the amazing ahi."
