"My husband and I and our two adult kids had a wonderful week here. We loved the ground floor entry and spacious lanai. Everything was as described. Trevor and Monty were very responsive to questions and ensured that we had no concerns that were not addressed. We appreciate Trevor's recommendations for restaurants and highly suggest a meal at the Sensei Grill, our favourite of the trip. 5 stars for location, amenities and service."

"Loved this property from beginning to end. So clean and spacious. Personnel was super friendly and helpful. We had one issue with a drain and it was fixed w/in the hour. You are near everything...beach, restaurants and Whalers shopping center. Loved the pool area as well. Lots of chairs and lots of tables if you want to eat near the pool while looking over at the ocean. I have stayed 6x at different resorts on Kaanapali and this is in my top 2. We were sad to leave, great experience. "

"We loved our stay here for our first trip to Maui. The view was so incredible and room was clean. We saw turtles swimming from the balcony! The staff was very kind and helpful when checking in, and we never had any issues to call again as the place was well stocked. Some furniture was a little outdated, but the views made that unimportant, and we would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"We went to the Honua Kai with our 3-year-old daughter as a recommendation from a friend who had gone earlier in the year with their one-year-old. We went for the ability to have washer-dryer, kitchenette, pools that were family-friendly, and an on-site store and restaurant. It lived up to our requirements with regards to everything. I also used the gym which was adequate for what I used it for (primarily treadmill running - when I didn't run on the beach, that is). Would recommend!"

"Great. Just hate the separation of adult and family pool areas. It is very discriminatory. We all pay same price and some adults can access full facilities and others only half and this because they are parents! If you have kids you will not be able to sit in a hot tub ever during your stay! You should consider setting kids open times and quiet rules but not ban kids completely !"
