"Easy to find, wouldn't say it was super secure. You are informed there is no wifi in the rooms but it's also a dead zone so there's no reception for phone service too. Staff is friendly and sincere. "

Our only complaint was that we wanted to extend our stay by another night and the front desk could not do it without waiting for the reservation staff to arrive which wasn't to happen until 10am. Essentially we had to pack up, check out and be checked back in later. Needless to say we did not stay. "

"The start of the stay started off well with Sarge, the property manager, and all, with him cooking for us and welcoming us in. The rules were very strict in having no outter footwear inside the house. The property was nice with a stray cat, named White Knight, being around the property to be there during your stay. However, things went downhill when we found out that one of our friends was hit on by Sarge, which made her feel uncomfortable. We were caught off guard by this action and let the other guests who went there with us, to be cautious and watch over her. "

Large sliding glass doors in the main living area look into lush plants and trees- the beauty of that side of Hawaii.Gorgeous kitchen with quite a few small appliances i.e.3 different ways to make coffee. "Central location in Hilo - brewery with food and an organic grocery store with a hot food bar within a block or two. Host was very helpful and friendly. Easy drive up the green wet coast to several sights. Easy drive the other way to Volcanos NP or out Saddle road to Mauna Kea. Apartment was clean with pretty much everything you need in the kitchen-dishes, pots and pans etc. We would stay here again! Thanks for the "W = V" lesson - we finally got it. "

"This room was perfect for my stay in Hilo. It was clean and had all the amenities I needed. It was also a very quiet area but one would need a car for getting around as there was really no way to walk to stores/food etc, I had to rely on others in my reunion group to pick me up(which worked out OK! I would certainly stay here again(can't beat the price)!"
