"Not often in life do you get to stay in a property of this quality in such a special location. The weather was almost perfect and we enjoyed two super weeks exploring Arco Da Calheta and Madeira. The pool and pool area at Casa Das Flores are amazing, we used the pool every day. The villa has everything you need come rain or shine. Access to walks and shops/bars from the door also a bonus. Our only critique was the noise from locals who appeared to be racing their cars at night near the property....

"The house is beautiful. The pool area is an amazing place to take in the views, sunsets and relax. The directions and accompanying literature provided by the host are very informative and answered all of our questions about using the house amenities. Highly recommend taking advantage of the bakery delivery truck that drives past every morning at ~9:15. There is a nespresso machine and drip/filter coffee maker for caffeine needs. If we’re ever back in Madeira, we will hope to stay here again....

"Our family of five stayed for five nights in March. The property was quite large, and accommodated our party easily. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything necessary to cook breakfast and simple meals during our stay. The TV and internet worked well. "We had a great weeks stay at Blue Sea Cottage. All information given by Bill was timely. Self check in easy. Villa is excellent. We had plenty of room for three adults. Great bathrooms and kitchen. Outside poll area and view is as per the picture. Perhaps some basics in the kitchen would be great such as pepper, salt, olive oil and cling film. "I stayed here with two buddies, with the plan to do a bunch of hiking and have a cozy, spacious place to come back to every day, and this fit the bill perfectly. We loved the neighborhood, the view is incredible, the walk down to the city center is easy, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Funchal!"

"Beautiful property we had a wonderful stay. We were meet by property manager who went through everything with us. We were 7 adults and 4 children. It was a perfect home for the bigger kids had a pool table and pool. Close to all, easy to access freeway. Garage parking for 3 cars was perfect. "Stayed in March/ April with partner and teenage son. We found the villa with no problem using Google Maps link provided and checked in easily. We were surprised at how big it is! There were only three of us, but it would be more than big enough for a family of six. We found it to be very well-equipped, with everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. "Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). If it had some sort of solar powered pool heating it would be even better. Other than that, it is pretty much perfect, clean, lovely views, spacious and really quite classy."
