"Items in the bathroom needed repair, there was a lack of utensils and general information on the use of the electrical setup. Worse of all the Property Manager insinuated that we may have broken the towel rack instead of us finding it that way. THIS EVEN AFTER I GAVE HIM SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE THE PLACE MORE PRESENTABLE AND CONVENIENT FOR CLIENTS...."

Ik had via de website gevraagd of zwbad verwarmd kon worden ivm verblijf begin januari, daar geen reactie op gekrege . We hebben dus wel.wat gezwommen maar hadden het meer willen doen. "1st trip 2 stunning Madeira, organised accommodation ( flight & rental car) 2 weeks b4 arriving. The new villa is very spacious for 6 (no single beds). Kitchen & 2.5 bathrms are well equipped mostly (needs corkscrew, colander, more towels, outdoor furniture, but had dishwasher & laundry tablets). Expedia shows the villa in Funchal (it is not). "I loved my stay at Casa Caramelo. Irina was such a warm and welcoming host, with lots of great tips for exploring Madeira. The flat was perfect, with everything I needed for my stay. It was lovely to have access to the courtyard area, which had plenty of sun and shade if needed and it great fun to play with Enola, Irina's beautiful German Shepherd dog. I would very much like to come and stay again oned day, thank you Irina!"

Thomas gave good directions as we arrived in early evening and it was dark but no difficulty finding the villa. Friendly bar just a couple of minutes up the road walking for cold beer and cooked us a pizza despite being after 9pm."

"We found this apartment extremely difficult to find with the directions given. We had to ask help from locals to find it. Perhaps it would have been easier if we had a GPS with us for directions.
