"I am SO GLAD I found this motel in Point Pleasant Beach. When I think of "motel" I think "ghetto", but Atlantic Motel is FAR from that. I stayed for 6 nights with my mom who has stage 4 cancer (and who lives 30 minutes SW of the motel) to be closer to the shore. We both loved the hotel grounds and the staff! Everything was clean and in good/great condition. Before arriving, I asked for a renovated room and I was VERY SURPRISED how different the room was compared to what is posted on hotels.com! (Please see my photos; very much improved.) The walls in the bathroom were painted in a slightly blue hue; the sleeping/eating area in a cream/yellow color; the ceiling in white. The shower curtain was new and had a super cute design; I hope to find one for my home 😆! These colors brought joy to my mom and me. Housekeeping was terrific and on-point everyday. I saw maintenance staining the wood of the hotel's exterior, which is another indicator of the care Atlantic Motel has for the upkeep of their property. The only issue we had was a few ants on the table by the window, which was fixed after we alerted the staff. Lastly, I want to give a shout out to Amanda for being so caring and an awesome person to talk to. 💛 I enjoyed her Jersey sense of humor and her somewhat sassy attitude. 😊 Thank you from the bottom of my heart. "

"This was the perfect place for a trip to the beach. Nothing fancy, but clean, quiet and with a huge porch in front and a large room on the bottom floor to hang out in. Very friendly personnel. The best part was the proximity to the beach. The beautiful boardwalk was a block away and it was less than a mile from the Belmar train station."

"Parking at hotel was easy, even if there were no spots ,parking at train station was fine. During the day there was plenty of street parking. The hotel upgraded us to a king suite that was fantastic. It had a little porch with tables and chairs over looking park. Free use of beach towels and chairs and even bicycles was a great perk. We drove to beach on 2 days. Parking at beach excellent. Beach clean and very quiet. All staff very friendly and helpful. All day coffee/tea/water in lobby a nice treat. Will be coming back again"
