The private catamaran experience was a highlight, and the entire trip felt special from start to finish. David and Zelma were incredibly helpful and made sure we were taken care of throughout our stay. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond. The resort itself is beautiful with great aesthetics, stunning ocean views, and a perfect beachfront location. The food and drinks were 10/10, and our room was comfortable, clean, and exactly what we needed to relax. Overall, one of the best experiences we’ve had. "This was my family’s second stay at The Grand Palldium in Costa Muejeres. It truly feels like a paradise away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The grounds and the property are beautiful and well-manicured. The spa was extraordinary - the hydrotherapy circuit was refreshing and relaxing. The services were comparable to a high end spa. I had a facial that left my skin looking fresh for days. To get around the property there are golf carts and boats. My family had fun picking which way to travel when going anywhere on the property. The staff (95% of them) are very caring and helpful. They are very hard working and the housekeeping staff was also constantly cleaning and available (we needed the rollaway bed made up; they were there within the hour). Our favorite was a boat captain named Arturo. We would cheer when we saw him and he always had a wide smile for us and a jolly laugh when telling us stories. He felt like part of our vacation family. Thank you to all the staff for creating a great experience for us and my 2 boys. "

"Nice hotel overall ~ Full sun most of the day, very few umbrellas, even fewer tables between the chairs ~ most guests had to continously hold their drinks, set them down on the concrete, in the pool, or on the sand!!! Just silly when small tables are so inexpensive ~ at bare minimum find a way to add cupholders to the chairs... "

"Outstanding service and attention to detail Our stay was exceptional from start to finish. As frequent travelers who don’t typically choose all-inclusive resorts, we were genuinely impressed by the quality, service, and attention to detail. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained, and we especially loved the bracelet key system—it made everything simple and stress-free. Communication was also excellent throughout, with staff speaking great English, which made the experience seamless for both of us. What truly made the difference was the staff. Jesús (concierge) was outstanding and made our stay incredibly relaxing with thoughtful, personalized touches. The food concierge team—Alvaro, Sebastian, and Ruth went above and beyond managing allergies and even customizing dishes so we could fully enjoy the menu. We also had wonderful experiences with Martin and Paris (Il Botacio), Xiunel and Aide (Mar House), and a fantastic Teppanyaki dinner thanks to Elias and Bogart. Paola (yoga) brought great energy, and Kevin and Jhonathan (pool service) were consistently attentive and friendly. Their efforts truly made our stay memorable. We highly recommend this resort and would gladly return."

"Wonderful small, quiet resort. We had a wonderful 4 day stay. The staff are wonderful and very responsive and helpful. The only inconsistencies we experienced were in the mixing of drinks - you may get different results depending on which bar you are at. The plant based menu was also hot or miss and could be improved to add plant based proteins. If you are vegan, you’ll need to bring your own supplements as the meals contain . "

"I honestly like the place for the pool and activities. The food was a hit and a miss; I like the steakhouse restaurant other than that the buffet you may like some items or not; choose wisely but far most I love the liquor in the room; as far liquor wise they also could of had done better in selection. We had a car to drive around so when we got bored with the food we went out even though this place was all inclusive. I would stay again if they improve their menu and liquor selections. "

"The hotel is small and family-friendly with welcoming, helpful staff. The decor is really nice and the property is very clean. Our room was spacious and modern with very comfortable beds. The shower is glass and basically in the open, so there's not a lot of privacy. The balconies are beautiful and the balcony doors are very high quality so they keep out a lot of noise from the music by the pool and nearby bars. The pool is stylish and clean and it was great to have hot tubs right beside it. They play loud music by the pool from about 7:30 am, which I found annoying. There is one main restaurant that serves a great breakfast and does a late lunch/dinner service. The portions are small but there are no issues if you order multiple items. There is also a good snack bar. I chose the hotel because I thought it was on a beach. This is technically true, but the sand is very gravelly and it's not suitable for swimming. The water is shallow and silty. You can't go out very far because there is boat activity in the area. I hoped to walk around the local area to see sights and explore, that's not really possible. There's not much to see nearby and a lot of the island is hidden away behind high walls or bushes. It costs $10-$15 US to get a taxi to the town/beaches in the north. Those beaches are nice but crowded. There are some great beach clubs like Mayan with sun loungers and good food. Overall, I found the town tacky and hectic and a lot of the island run-down and depressing."
