"Due to a reservation date fowl-up at another hotel, the Holiday Inn Express was most accommodating! I was able to make an immediate reservation quickly with no problems. Susan at the front desk was friendly and extremely helpful. She was the most cheerful person at the hotel and answered every question I could come up with! What an awesome customer service attitude!"

"The staff, especially the bar staff. Everytime we left or entered it was like a family. They were great. Location was great"

"We checked out 47 minutes ago. Our room was clean. Staff was extremely helpful. The person doing the breakfast was very helpful, inviting. Breakfast was delicious, although you guys did not have no chicken or turkey breakfast options. My family don’t eat pork. The hot tub was the best. Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed this day. Thank you. We appreciate it until next time"

"We were on the first floor on the same hall and on your way to the pool,we were worried about the noise but will say they must have the best doors in the business because we never heard anything even when I went out to get something our TV was turned up quite a bit and you couldn't hear anything."

"The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was good enough. The breakfast was great for our family to be included in the stay. Appreciated parking being easy and overall was a lovely experience."

I chose this property based on positive reviews for breakfast, so was especially disappointed when I came to breakfast an hour before it was scheduled to end but found that many food items were already gone or the machine was not working (yogurt machine, oatmeal, egg patties, hot water, sausage) and would not be replaced, plus utensils were missing! It was also set up in a very confusing way. When we complained to management...

"Although this hotel is comfortable and most of the staff is very friendly and accommodating, a room rate in the &300’s is still quite high given the level of amenities, furnishings, type of breakfast, etc. It is a very convenient location to the university of Rochester especially when events at the university occur at various hours of the day. For future, I plan on staying again at this hotel only if the rates are more reasonable."

"Staff great Food fine Parking good Room carpet stained and needs to be shampooed. That was a turnoff"

"Everything was clean and well maintained. My husband enjoyed the breakfasts."

"Clean room nice breakfast"

"Our room had an unopened bottle of church wine under the bed. One of the front desk girls were rude!"

"Some gravy for the breakfast biscuits would be great"

"Hotel was very lowd. Called the front desk several times to quite the noise. It went on until 1-2 in the morning. Be careful before you book this hotel."
