"This is an absolutely charming boutique hotel. Situated in an old house, there are many beautiful heritage features, and they have done a terrific job with the design. The bed was comfortable, as were the two armchairs, I loved the old-fashioned radiator that I could hang my pyjamas on to warm them up. "I find so much of how one perceives a place has to do with one's expectations. We had stayed at the Inn at Laurel Point before and we had high expectations. What we did not realize is that our previous stay was in the Erikson Wing. So when we arrived in our room on the Laurel wing, we were disappointed. The view and the room was not near what we were expecting. The next morning we shared our concerns with one of the receptionist/hosts at the front desk. She was so helpful and accommodating....
